How To Get A Patent

Patents have always fascinated me.  My grandfather was an inventor, and as a child, I spent countless enjoyable hours with him in his garden shed where he developed prototypes and just generally experimented with ideas in his head.

Actually, he came up with a new design for a lawn mower, but stupidly did not patent it - only to find that 4 years later his so-called friend stole his idea.

 

Getting a patent however, is not a straight forward process, and there seems to be a dearth of reliable places for the private inven tor to go for help.  This site attempts to redress that balance.
